     What would and could it have looked like for Israel to count and story and honor and lionize its dead while also learning to deeply grieve, including for all that came before October 7th? Including for another people, a side-by-side, living-in-parallel, the city & the city people?

     What else could have been possible? And what futures might learning again to grieve well have written?

     this is non-sectarian, y'all. this isn't good for Jewish people or for American safety and security or for anything, really, except the arms industry that behaves pretty much like Dr. Seuss's Sneetch star off-star on machine EXCEPT IT WRITES IN BLOOD
