   @Jyoti oh gods, I saw that and it made me feel physically ill.

   I'm from one of Lebanon's neighbouring countries. My best friend at school was a refugee from one of the previous instances of this flavour of bullshit (twice, actually - his family tried to go home but guess what?)

   The consequences for children, for the uninvolved, for any notion that summary and arbitrary execution might not be fucking conscionable always gets elided away by the peanut gallery that is the global North's media engine.

     My complaint:

     This horrific propaganda piece for Israel completely ignores the nearly 3,000 innocent civilians injured, the twelve dead, including two children.

     If today, Russia had injured more than 3000 German civilians by exploding random phones used by Germans said to support the Ukrainian resistance...

     ...Would Bowen write a similar piece lauding Russia's cunning plan, out of a blockbuster spy thriller?

     BBC - stop ignoring the innocent civilians murdered by Israel.
