@tromo Antisemitism, in the sense that it implies hate against Jewish people, is a very real thing. It simply does not equate to criticism of zionists or the (terrorist) state of Israel. I’m not here to bikeshed the minutiae of the word’s semantics and even less deny the existence of very real racism against Jewish people. If anything Israel’s concerted cooption of the word is what robs it of meaning and makes Jewish people everywhere less safe.
@aral btw, there is no such word 'antisemitic'. If it is used include peoples that are no relative with Israel, even Jews. So, why it is used? because it is racistic-close and no a condemn of specific regime.
