   I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: never get quotes from someone’s work tattooed on your body if the person you’re quoting is

   a) still alive
   b) a man and
   c) in a position of power or influence

     Important note!

     Some men would like me to remove the criteria 'is a man' from my post about how men in positions of power or influence seem to disproportionately turn out to be sexual predators/wrong 'uns, and therefore maybe you shouldn't get their words tattooed on your body.

     Yes, she's a bigot. I don't think any of you are planning to get her words tattooed on your body any time soon, are you?

     The fact that you're all mentioning *the same woman* does sort of imply that you haven't understood what I was trying to say.

     It's OK for women to point out that a shocking and disappointing number of men we have previously admired turn out to be sexual predators, actually. That's OK for us to mention. We're allowed.
