Looks like Western media is already attempting to normalise Israel’s supply-chain-based terrorist attack from yesterday that indiscriminately and savagely wounded ~3,000 people (yes, they’re people, as hard as it might be for some white folks to understand), some 300 of them critically, and killed others, including a 10-year-old girl.
But don’t worry, it’s not like many USians/Europeans carry personal electronic devices made in foreign countries or anything… what’s the worst that could happen?

@bigTanuki Open source would not have prevented this unless every pager was checked after receiving it (or entirely produced in-house). Do you want to be opening up a device that might possibly contain an explosive to see if it matches the open source schematics?

@aral This is going to blow up in our faces not too far down the road. Oh, and nobody will (should) ever trust the manufacturer (Motorola?) that allowed for this explosive alteration.
More reason to design so they can build so we can buy open source. Forget the specs, at least it will not blowup in your face.
