No cream in tea, mate. Most improper, I'd say.

@Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill @Dan_Hulson I'm gonna have to make myself a cup of tea today and put milk in it, to honor my English friends. 😁

@Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill @Dan_Hulson I'm also part German and yes, during my travels in Germany, my tea was served with lemon most places I went.

I actually quite like lemon tea, I'm just a creature of habit and go with a little milk. I should change it up every now and then. The extra vitamin c certainly won't hurt.

I'm part German and that side of the family always have lemon in their tea, never milk and no sugar.

@Dan_Hulson @Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill I didnt think either the English or the Irish ever used lemon in tea.
I haven't had tea with milk in it since my Grandma used to make it for me. 😪

@Thusnelda @Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill Horses for courses, my dear. We all like different things and as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters

@Thusnelda @Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill I too can drink strong tea as I got used to it being a builders labourer when young. It just sits a little heavy on my stomach. My go too is generally just blended black tea Yorkshire or Twininings with milk and no sugar.

@Dan_Hulson @Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill Thank you, Dan for the explanation. I find the Irish tea a little strong, but I do like it.

@Thusnelda @Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill Irish/Scottish tea is often a little strong as I find many Assam blends I prefer Ceylon blends. I find breakfast tea a little powerful anyway and prefer Earl Grey since it's milder though but I can drink Darjeeling

@Grumblesock @Billy_Hughes @KiKi88 @jill Yes, Darjeeling has a rather light, delicate flavor. Which is why I like it so much. But I like the English and Irish also. One of my Grandmother's was Irish. She always put milk in my tea.

It's not bad but I like the assam better and the darker breakfast blends, either Irish or English breakfast are my go to teas.

@Grumblesock @KiKi88 @Billy_Hughes @jill Do you like Darjeeling?
It's my favorite.

You can get reasonable tea blends over there, I would have shrivelled and died during my time in the Americas if I couldn't get a proper cuppa. Have a look and see if you can find a brand called Dilmah, they're Siamese or whatever the fuck they renamed their country to but it's good stuff.
Oh my goodness that is one naughty little rooster. Slap his legs, cheeky little shit. Are the chickens getting any bolder about being outside yet?

Well i'm not accepting that explanation, you're a true denizen of NCD and therefore greater than perfection itself. The driver should be tarred and feathered. :smug_cat:
It's only mid afternoon, just coming up on 3pm. I'm just waiting on some dye work to cure in the bath tub and having a tea. A relatively easy day here. What about you? Any grand plans for the day.

Might as well capitalise on that energy whilst you've got it going on. Good on you two. I salute your efficiency.
As long as it works and does what it needs to we don't need fancy.
Bloody hell, sorry for the near miss but glad it was a miss. Some drivers are such dickheads. 😒
