This is just the simple point, you can't have you cake and eat it too.
Saying someone is a "threat to our democracy" means more than just "some bad things would happen if this guy gets elected"-

@sickburnbro Getting a lefty to ever admit something is their own fault is like... they would literally rather die. That's what 'threat to democracy' means to them. If they ever get held accountable for their own fuck ups, they think it's a threat to their life. There's no middle ground in their mind.

@007 yes, that's why the infitine double down. But that's also what the "choose one" is about. They actually don't care about "no calling for violence" , it's obvious. So the game is to get them to choose 1. -

@sickburnbro They're never going to cooperate, they're bad faith actors. If you logic trap them like this, they'll completely ignore it and go on pretending it never happened while they keep attacking you

@007 the key isn't to lawgic trap them - thats getting someone to put forward an idea, then direct them into something where they show they don't actually support that idea ( or it's impossible, etc. )
This is simply saying "choose one" and let them try to make up justifications about why they can do both, so it's more like "your enemy is losing when they are explaining" -

@mousewaffen @007 note that the faggy "person" is faggots rewriting the actual line:
en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Jonathan_Swift has the actual quote:
"Reasoning will never make a man correct an ill opinion, which by reasoning he never acquired"

@mousewaffen @007 it's not, it's sadly more like a N dimensional Mobius strip.
What this really means though is you need to not discard the wisdom of elders and simply understand there will always been forces to fight against.In conversation permalink -
