  Capitalism: 1. Making vast sums of money by exploiting the structural incentives that favour degradation of the biosphere. 2. Not investing those sums in an energy transition or regenerative economy unless it can ‘get a good return’ because having a thriving modernity at all in 20 or so years is not incentive enough

  …we can’t address climate breakdown because we have the wrong incentives.
  Caring more about something we’ve made up (money) than what we’re made of will go down in history as the biggest collective mind fk in history.
