   Okay I'm reasonably car-brained all things considered but I'm coming up empty trying to find someone who will sell me a spare wheel + tire (temporary, donut style) for my car to replace the one I had to use due to a flat. Where can I buy this? Do I need to call local tire shops? Toyota dealer?

     @lamp I dunno if you're talking about a different type of tire than I am. This thing is small, narrow, and for temporary use only. Made of different weaker material.

     @prettygood there is no need to replace if it is not worn to the wear indicators. check the wear indicators.
     
     a spare should last a thousand miles. 50-100 is ridiculous.

     @lamp I did get the spare back but they are only safe for 50-100 miles and I'm already past that. I need to have that spare replaced with a new tire.

     I have a normal wheel as my spare but I've literally never had to use it, maybe you should buy a car that isn't a pos
