   people have db restorations taking over a week to do and meanwhile i can just copy my entire postgres data directory to a new server carelessly if i really need to use a backup

     kind of sucks that a gzip compressed backup takes up 20 GIGABYTES of space but i mean. waiting 20 hours for my backup to download isn't that bad right :sataniaSmug:

     that's with media and stuff too so you know. It's only natural. If I literally just copied the data directory it'd be more like 10 gigs
