@DavidBridger no idea about that but it's tasty delicious tea (and if you leave it to brew for too long, an excellent morning eye opener)

David Bridger (davidbridger@mastodon.social)'s status on Monday, 16-Sep-2024 20:37:00 JST David Bridger There’s a good crop of rose hips up in our garden this year, especially on the big bush beside Mother Bramley. I’m keeping my eye on its fat red fruits. The birds aren’t interested in it yet, and we’re perhaps a few weeks from our first sharp frost to soften the hips’ flesh. As always, we’ll leave most of it for the birds, but this year I’d like to harvest some and make tea. I’ve read it’s good for soothing arthritis pain.
