??Turkleton Pupptarr?? (turkleton@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 16-Sep-2024 12:35:21 JST ??Turkleton Pupptarr?? @givenup @Rhodesian_YuKari @whiteman_ I think it could possibly be generational too. We are not the same caliber of human being as we were in say WW2 or WW1. -

Roadie Yukari :4chan: (rhodesian_yukari@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 16-Sep-2024 12:35:22 JST Roadie Yukari :4chan: @Turkleton @whiteman_ Going back to the main premise, with the presumption that Generals (and their lesser cared-for equivalents, Officers) are caring towards their men's wellbeing, I'd say the weight of the burden of leading men to their deaths is worse than having to run towards it myself. Put another way, having the deaths of others on top of potentially my own being my responsibility is worse than being pitted in a life or death situation alongside peers and being forced to preserve ourselves against all odds.
Of course, this is me basing this off of my feelings playing Mordhau and various FPS (the grunt perspective) versus my time playing Company of Heroes and Battle Brothers (the commanding perspective), so I could just be a bleeding-hearted incompetent; but it's my two-cents anyway. -

??Turkleton Pupptarr?? (turkleton@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 16-Sep-2024 12:35:24 JST ??Turkleton Pupptarr?? Idk what is worse being an infantry man knowing you will probably die or being a general having that burden of knowing you are sending men to die and having to live with that.
