    Mission Impossible II (2000) …

    Shockingly directed by otherwise capable John Woo, this 125 minute collage of male fantasy tableaus is too excrutiating to watch in one sitting. After a week I gave up with 30+ minutes left. I failed this test of endurance. My dishonor will ring through eternity. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is that I might have enjoyed this attractively framed cringefest 24 years ago.
