I know people aren’t serious about climate change because they speed and can’t do the speed limit. It is literally the single largest thing you can do for the planet but no one does it. More impactful than recycling or anything else we do as individuals.

@django - So you don't own a car and just shift your CO2 emissions to the Amazon driver or the UberEats guy?
The idea that you don't own a car has exonerated you is the same cognitive dissonance the meme above is pointing out. -

@django -- And while that is better for the environment, it does not remove you from the CO2 Emissions issue. You obviously need to eat.
What I'm getting at is that there is no way to NOT impact the environment, and how we individually make decisions and how many of those decisions are not in our control.
Many of us cannot see the world as it actually works to make the right decisions to make an impact. -

@jeffowski What i actually meant to say is, that i use my feet, a bicycle or public transport instead of a car. Breaking speed limits on my bicycle is too much work. :BlobCat_Googly_Confused:
