Not much warms the heart of an old climate activist more than seeing headlines like this.

Let's put the #FossilFools out of business!

I listened to a panel discussing this new report that the American Gas Association paid to get produced by the think tank, Center for Strategic and International Studies last night.

Didn't learn much other than that there are apparently 193 million gas meters in USA with one being added every day. I thought they might be added at a faster rate than that.

Anyways, the methane industry sounds desperate to defend their market share as should not surprise you.

American Gas Foundation and Center for Strategic and International Studies Report Shows Natural Gas is Critical for U.S. Manufacturing Competitiveness - American Gas Association
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A new report unveiled today from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) with support from the American Gas Foundation indicates that natural gas will play an increasingly critical role in fueling and maintaining the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing, particularly as energy demand continues to rise. The report, conducted by CSIS and funded by the American Gas Foundation, performed independent and novel research on what recent trends imply for the strategic use of natural gas resources to support manufacturing and maintain energy security along pathways to a low-carbon economy.

Especially in the USA consumers are the ones with the most power as even our POTUS is being blocked by the fossil fools still which is why we need to put the fossil fuel industry out of business.

Former President Trump appointee Judge Daniel Traynor granted a request from five states to temporarily block Biden's new methane leaking rule from companies extracting fossil fuels from public lands taking effect.

Just disgusting, but that's what we're up against.

I know that it might not seem that there is much that you can do, but the simple act of not buying fossil fuels is what is going to put the fossil fuel industry out of business and that's getting easier and easier.

Getting rid of fossil fuel companies should be the first thing we focus on doing and we do that by convincing enough people that they are a bad investment because they're losing their customers.
