Good news for Californians:

Bit by bit, & with a little help from the weather, firefighting crews in Southern California are gaining control over 3 wildfires that have destroyed dozens of bldgs., burned >100,000 acres & kept countless residents out of their homes for days.

Cooler temps. have helped firefighters on the ground slow down the fires’ rapid pace and make significant gains, but they are refusing let their guard down.
