   Had an amusing little flash, a fully decentralized riff on the #fediverse. Where each member account brings their storage and compute resources to the party. The more storage and compute resources your bring, the higher on the hit parade list your membership goes, giving you weighted priority in storage and processing. The more you bring, the more you get. I have absolutely no idea how, but god, I’m waiting with baited breath for someone to tell me this will never ever work and I’m a ninny.

     @Bluedepth it could work if we went fully p2p. However, I don't think the world's home internet capabilities would be anywhere close to the speed we have now. It'd be like we're back on dial-up.
