   @navi I'd rather use m4 than $CPP though, much more appropriate for this. (Just as usual, ditch the GNU horrors)

     the c preprocessor is free, you can take and use it everywhere
     
     generate your static site with the preprocessor
     do macros in any language with the preprocessor
     
     no one will stop you!
