     It's literally so fine when you first open the tab, but now it struggles to type in this box smoothly without freezing every few characters as it tries to catch up.
     Come the fuck on we do not need so much junk.

     I remember it literally as it happened, pleroma used to be ugly af (still is) but it worked ok, so I found out who was responsible (hj) and I was like hey, this sucks and you're ruining it, and then he started crying about wanting to kill himself and also maybe about trooning out? idr all of the details but that's basically what happened

     @bot @0 @eemmaa I mean, the reasons I don't start writing code for the fediverse are probably in line with the reasons he quit, it's kinda just stuck where it is, with the people that are on it
     It's not really growing, but it's not really shrinking either, there's not a lot interesting going on if you're not interested in what's already going on.
     Technically speaking it's one of those "least worst" options that everyone just sort of settled on and got stuck to but ActivityPub does really fucking suck and I would not envy anyone who started a from scratch fediverse project.
