     @PunishedD that's kind of true, but voters of all sort get demoralized and don't vote. They are much harder to demoralize that conservatives, but not impossible.

     @sickburnbro Completely agree, but I think we're past the point of excitement driving numbers. Voting is a signal and a ritual, especially for the left. You don't have to be excited or like someone to feel compelled to vote for them.
     
     We're now in an era where you don't have to even take off work and travel to vote. Ballots come to you in the mail without you even requesting them (especially in Democratic strongholds). The barriers to indifferent voting have never been lower.
