@veroandi Privacy is just one pillar of the actual goal called "Freedom". Yes technically with less privacy ( and less freedom respecting technology ) this person will be over-all less free ( and less private ). But it would be taking his freedom away if he couldn't make this decision. Freedom is extremely unstable, because for it stay you always have to genuinely choose it, over anything else, without being forced to do so.
