Thinking I am "cursed" to always be the same way I've always been. Not even bothering to work on things or self-reflect because "I'm cursed" "this is how I am". How very convenient.
Not going to fall into that trap, anymore. I can make small improvements, bit by bit. Changing the dialogue of :"This is just how I am." to "Hmm, why am I doing this?---Let's examine it." 1/2

It's not the easy path. I may have to face some hard truths about myself, and it takes effort to change old habits.
Must remember along the way to forgive myself for past behavior, and for setbacks. But recognizing the fact that saying to myself that I "can't change" traits, that I absolutely can work on, is a form of self-indulgence that does not serve me. Well, it's the first step to a better me. #thoughts. 2/2
