As more and more USian folks post their interactions with cops I hope this is becoming clearer to everyone:

while Black folks and brown folks still experience an outsized amount of contact with LEOs (which often leads to unjustified death and murder of Black folks), the risk is spreading to everyone, including white folks.

Traffic stops escalating, egregious arrests for minor things (like trespassing when you're waiting for a bus you missed or providing translation help when a cop isn't listening to a woman struggling with English), wellness checks going horribly wrong, school discipline turning into child abuse quickly -- cops are a direct threat to *every* community.

Engage with them (if one must) as you would a wild, unpredictable animal.
