     they just have to be done by people that don't fucking hate the original and the audience they're translating for, i actually consider a klk fansub and fandub by anifilm to be my favorite way to watch it because of the idioms ryuko saying "whore", problem is? THOSE PEOPLE ACTUALLY FUCKING LOVE THE SOURCE MATERIAL AND WANTED TO MAKE IT MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE, THEY WEREN'T TRYING TO PUSH POLITICAL AGENDA AND THAT SHIT WOULD BE PISS EASY TO DO WHEN WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A STORY THAT CAN BE SUMMED UP AS "SHADOWY REBELLION AGAINST AN INSANE MEGACORPORATION"
