   What books (preferably) or online resources would you recommend to a seasoned programmer to finally get started with #Python and #Rust, and why (that's the most important part).

   I am quite an expert with Perl, good with JS & PHP, OK with C/C++ and acquainted with some others.

     The best place to learn Python, if you are a programmer is How to Think Like a Computer Scientist.
