   Vermin Supreme is hosting a protest of #Project2025 in #SanFrancisco today. The protest takes place outside of Reboot 2024, a conference hosted by Garry Tan and the #HeritageFoundation to discuss how the far-right and tech VCs can transform local and federal governments to their advantage.      A lot of "anonymous" organizers and funders are listed there. I get it, I wouldn't want my name on the same list as the Heritage Foundation or the Peter Thiel Alumni Association either.

     @powersoffour @docpop Bonus points to Reboot for starting off their supervillain monologue with an appropriated, misquoted William Gibson line. This whole circus—the people, the ideologies, the tech—sounds very Gibsonian indeed, and not in a good way.

     (I do wonder who chose the static-filled CRT screens as a key visual motif for their website. Feels very much like a sly "you and I both know what we are" detail.)
