     The moment you disobey orders in the midst of surrendering and attempt to secure a weapon from your captors you are no longer a 'POW', you have gone right back to being an 'active combatant'. And, unfortunately, so has everyone else associated with you wearing the same uniform.
     
     BTW a 'fake surrender' is also considered a 'war crime' :trademark:
