@HauntedOwlbear Yes please. I've thought this for a while now. Nothing undermines my identity than making it sound like I'm something other than my identity, identifying as it.
@Gwendolyn Variety has today printed the words "who identifies as a trans man" and, like, this isn't even an unusual xenogender twist or very particular fluid state. Dude's a trans man. No need for hedging because you're worried about having to print a sidebar explaining what vampiregender is or something (apart from fucking awesome, obviously). He's. A. Man. Fuck's sake.
