I'm on Amtrak's Acela 2173 which has backed up and, we are informed, is about to pull alongside a stranded train to "rescue" some 200 passengers near Newark, Delaware.

The icing on the cake was when the crew timed out from all the delay one station away from DC, and we had to wait another hour for a fresh crew. Ah, Amtrak.
