   I keep getting mails with "single-use codes" from microsoft. The mails are mentioning the email-address they are addressed to in their content.

   I don't think I've never used this email to make an microsoft account, and when I try to login (or get a single use code for account recovery) it says there is no account under that username 😬

     removed the address that was getting spammed with single use codes, even activated 2FA, but my OTP app said the encryption microsoft uses is weak.

     I'm not even really using this account besides sometimes having a skype call

     there are 2 different menus where you can add/change emails to login/verify your ms account, this is so confusing.

     but yeah, I also found the menu where I can see that russian hackers, maybe mr putin himself, are after me!!!111111

     Never mind, it was the account I used for skype. And with my skype-username, I got it to send a recovery code.

     Only that email looked different?

     anyway, I've changed password. Guess I should change the email address as well?
