   I still can’t fucking believe that European person seriously said “sometimes black people need us to speak for them” earlier… couldn’t block hard and fast enough.

   You BOOST voices, FFS.

   You wanna use your white privilege in a useful way? Video any police misconduct against POC you see out in the world, try to stop it before it escalates to outright brutality by being a Karen and loudly ask why they’re doing what they’re doing.

   At protests, stand in front of POC protesters, creating a shield, because cops hesitate to attack white people. If there’s the slightest break in the chain the pigs WILL go right around you and grab the closest POC. I’ve seen it happen. This is why I despise liberals who treat protests like a fun parade because they’re completely unprepared for the inevitable kettling and get herded like cattle. Hell, they helpfully report their protest routes! Don’t fucking do that. If you want to help, do some real help.

   I can’t go outside, but maybe you can.

     Seeing a few #ally (hashtag and all) folks who are jumping into the discussion about content warnings by outright infantilizing marginalized people. How bout you don’t do that? I spoke about the part relevant to me as a disabled trans person, how I felt about it given my past trauma, and that’s all I can rightfully speak about. My experience still does not dictate how things should go for *everyone.* There are other conversations happening regarding it among POC that are not my place to join, but I see equally valid concerns. There’s really no one size fits all solution here.

     You—white, cishet, and able—coming down from on high to weigh in is not going to settle matters.
