     @lain it makes so much sense.

     These people obviously know that they're smarter then the average person but because of that they don't realize that they're not actually a genius and humble themselves.

     So they hold a lot of these opinions because they believe them because it comes from a state of authority, and science so it naturally indicates some level of respect or intelligence of these ideas if there being considered by their peers which actually feeds into their ignorance.

     Because why would you listen to the masses or some hillbilly about their opinions because obviously they're dumb so everything that they would vote for would obviously be wrong.

     @lain I always love how they know that tolerance is a hollow feel-good concept but call it a 'paradox' and try and justify it anyway
