     @internetfreak @transgrammaractivist @Griffith @opossum An inner party needs an outer party in a 2-party democratic system.
     
     You have seen places where democrats say they want a "strong republican party" and they aren't actually lying. They don't want an obvious 1 party system, because then there is always one group to blame for what is going wrong. With two parties you can really spread things out.
