   This pup crossed a busy road in front of me this morning, and I followed, lost her, stopped at Dollar General to buy doggie bait, and continued to search.

   Spotted pup at an apartment complex and lured her with Caramel Puffs. She scarfed one after another while I called Animal Rescue. It would take a half-hour. A resident saw us and came over. I explained all and asked if she could wait for Rescue. It was 95º F, and I was exhausted.

   "Of course, hon!" 🙏 ❤️

     (L) The first shot of Pup when I found her at the apartments. Nice new complex with grass and trees.

     (R) Once she'd had a few pieces of Caramel Puffcorn, Pup stayed close. I asked her to sit, and she did. Clearly, she's had some training. Her teats indicated she's had puppies. Not much older than a puppy herself.

     Here's hoping Pup finds a forever home filled with love, with room to run and play.
