     1. I very obviously need to get onto Black Sails

     2. I think most people elide acquaintanceship with friendship, because it's my experience that the former is common (and fun! and rewarding! and healthy!) but the latter is very much rarer, redolent with intimacy and loyalty. I may just be splitting hairs on terminology, of course.
