     @waifu @meso maybe? I mean, van Gogh only became sorta famous during the later years of his life when he was already pretty fucked up physically and mentally. Most of the profits were actually collected by his brother Theo, who was an art dealer.

     @waifu @meso ok, not quite. Theo died 6 months after Vincent. Theo's widow and son were the ones who got the most of this.
