ugh, got a promotional email from a favorite synth shop with a big ugly AI-generated banner at the top

i emailed them them about it, because i do really like this shop but i avoid businesses that utilize AI, and the owner got all defensive about “the economic realities of owning a small business”

and just…dude your shop’s been around for like a decade, don’t try to bullshit me into believing nauseating AI cartoons are a necessity for running your business
