     @QueenValhalla Well, I would simply ask what pronouns they prefer and if daughter is still a term that they think that accurately describes them.

     I think that's the most respectful way to go about it. Just ask and respect their wishes.

     And yes, legal weed is always nice. Though, I'm not even in a legal weed state. If burning a plant and inhaling the smoke is a crime, then I'm a criminal.🤷♂️doesn't bother me one bit to say that.

     Hey can I ask - my child is enby. I used to call them my daughter. I don't know what to call them now - my child, my adult child? I'm not unsupportive, I'm just old.
     I don't have anyone to talk to so it doesn't come up.

     I'm glad my child got away. (They got a job at the U of MN and has decent health insurance for surgeries.) I gotta move, too. I can't smoke we3d legally here. F'g sick of it.

     @QueenValhalla haha. Unfortunately I can't say for certain because I'm not part of that community, only an ally.

     So, if it were me, I'd just ask.

     Damn, I totally understand being limited cause of disability. We need to join "The rent is too damn high" party.😅 I also don't wanna die in Louisiana, it's like the last in most metrics that are good and the top in the ones that are terrible.🤦♂️

     Daughter doesn't apply. I'll ask them if 'spawn' is ok. lol (They would laugh.) I guess I just thought there was a set term. 'Oldest' would work. I'll ask them.

     I don't want to die in Wisconsin. My autistic son (youngest) knows this. I've been waiting to see if he's gonna be ok. Currently he cannot get a different apartment because he's on disability.
