Indoril Nerevar being betrayed and killed in a conspiracy by those nearest to him only to have a prophecy of his resurrection emerge shortly thereafter is an obvious parallel to Julius Caesar, while the Dunmer being turned into a dark-skinned race as punishment for their hubris is a direct reference to the exact same thing happening to Italians irl
