   Are people under the impression that Mastodon has Quote posts for some reason?

   Can't stop people from quote posting unless quote posting exists in the first place...😳

     This is a super cool #BlueSky feature that I honestly wonder /if/ it could work on the #Fediverse? But edits, etc function seemingly fine here so I assume this would too?

     Sure, minor chance for 'drift' as the detach event chases down the original post event, but again…we use edits all the time which would have the same property.

     The point about binary thinking is spot-on, anyway.
