1. Threads thread: rolle_ Dangerous how? Your posts are public and can be viewed from anywhere anyway. Ironically, isn't it more dangerous to trust your data to corporations like Meta? If you care about privacy, don't hand over your data. Start your own server in the Fediverse and own it. photeric Uhhhh did you read the screenshot I posted??? Sure your posts can be read from anywhere if you have a public profile, but this insinuates that if you open your info up to the fediwhatthefuc that any server can have access to your info without your knowledge, can be used however they want AND it can’t be deleted from their server. DANGEROUS and very different from only meta having your info.

  @tomek yeah you can't use the eu privacy law against thousands of different server administrators all residing in varying countries, either way the info broadcasted is public, deal with it
