     @kaia I used to get read as gay in middle school
     
     Idk why it stopped in like high school, perhaps people still think the same and don't say it out of courtesy.
     
     I'm not bothered by it these days cause they're probably about 1% correct lol, well that and I'm not too concerned about it these days.

     @kaia@brotka.st Back in my college anime club, we had a friend who liked Re:zero and we'd always joke that it's because he liked the trap character.
     
     We eventually stopped but 2 yrs later, the girl in club that he liked later admitted he thought he was gay the whole time. She would've made a move earlier if she knew.
     
     Moral of the story: The biggest obstacle in any relationship is the perception of being gay
