   @DarkMahesvara Hmm, the writer goes from attempting to be neutral to shilling proprietary restrictions by referring to the "PSP" as "protection".
   
   The DisplayPort committee previously avoided rent-seeking, but they now do it almost as hard as HDMI does.
   
   DisplayPort can be transmitted over USB-C, although it's always via proprietary software uploaded onto the USB-C host, so you would really prefer a proper DisplayPort.
