Why can rich people nearly always do what they want without consequences?
When you are poor and didn't pay your taxes it is called tax fraud. When you are rich and don't pay your taxes it is called tax avoidance or tax optimization.
When you are poor and don't follow rules you might get sued. When you are rich and don't follow rules nothing happens and your followers even praise you.
