My router boots to the EFI shell if I run a software reboot, but if I actually shut it down and boot it back up it starts fine.

@manawyrm I have no idea. I'm booting off a tiny USB drive plugged directly into the motherboard.
@ryanc bootloader correctly installed as removable? (aka BOOTX64.EFI file present on the FAT partition?)
EFI non volatile storage is a huge, unreliable shitshow...
@manawyrm I can probably just disable EFI booting...
