   I'm going to mention a *monster hit* "known by everyone" in the indie RPG world. Like, indie RPG creators aspire to have a game this well known, and will never come close. Yet, I'd wager that a decent percentage of #ttrpg followers have never played it.

     There are lots of great RPGs out there, many made by small press/indie designers and publishers, toiling away mostly in obscurity.
