1. Looking down at an off-white cement walkway and dark gray edge of asphalt with a section of brown dirt seen at one edge, a red play structure for small children is seen in bright sunlight. It is simply metal arcs of pipe bolted into the cement, one crossing over the other at perpendicular angles. The sunlight is coming in low, so it’s casting dark shadows of the arcs, creating a stretched oblong version of the arcs’ crossings in shadows on the ground. It looks kind of like a plotted graph of a complicated equation.
