   why do people think pizza delivery is normal but burger delivery is somehow high level degeneracy

     @lain Good question. I think maybe because a pizza is typically shared? So it makes sense that you'd have it delivered to your group function. But a burger is for one person, so people see it as lazy to not just go get it yourself.

     @lain A typical pizza order is typically for multiple people (unless you are a amerifat and order 2 pizza's for yourself), delivered by someone typically on a wage that is not horrible wage.
     
     Yes - you can call up and pay cash on delivery without running proprietary software.
     
     
     Burger delivery is high level degeneracy as it is done via proprietary software, by those not on a wage and is for one person only.

     @lain My guess would be pay disparity between actual employees versus whatever the polite industry term is for an uber eats driver.
     I would rather more places had delivery drivers on staff.

     Burger has lettuce that gets wilty and bun that gets soggy in transit. Pizza has been preoptimized for extended delivery box time.
