   Question?
   How many people moderate #Mastodon instances vs How many do for #Twitter?
   Compare that to the number of Twitter users vs number of Mastodon Users.
   Now, something seems off, right?

   Is Mastodon over-moderated, or ... is it something else?

     @lw64 over moderated? Most would say the opposite....😳

     People getting harassed on here daily....

     @BeAware I see how moderation can always be improved. My point was more about twitter's lack of moderation and how mastodon is already miles ahead of it. (Even if not yet perfect)

     @lw64 they are pretty lack compared to some instances here.

     However, AFAIK, if someone is directly harassed and reported, they'd deal with it, though I'm not 100% sure.

     I just know that there's a LOT of black people that get harassed on here very regularly and claim that corporate social media sites are miles better. Maybe that's because they can limit who replies there? 🤔

     I am not black so I don't experience such harassment, but I am always looking for ways they can protect themselves from that.

     @BeAware yeah, I haven't experienced anything either. And haven't heard a lot about people getting harassed either tbh. But I guess it will sadly always be a thing, at least damage can be minimised. -> more mods -> quicker reactions
