@jane23c Yeah, their field is so much about practically accepting any client, and they're protected by laws as well in case their client is actually guilty (and they also know it). (It's my primary reason why I didn't choose this field even though so many people told me it's the best fit for me, I don't want to get trapped in such a situation where I have to turn my back on my conscience and principles.)
I think the very rich painted that way is based on reality. 😅 I mean, no matter which culture we look into, it's the same. The very rich and/or powerful are often the ones doing "bad" things, while the poor are often used as escape goats. Even way back at the time of Abraham, he had to lie about his wife to an Egyptian pharaoh out of fear he'll have him killed to steal his wife. There has always been a huge gap between the poor and the rich; and the ordinary and the powerful.
Although, I think the one thing dramas are not faithful about is that, the rich people generally don't flaunt they're rich. 😉 They wear ordinary clothes. It is those who are poor, or used to be poor, who loves to show the world they're classy. 🤣🤣 (At least based on my experience, having met some members of conglomerate here in the Philippines.)
Of course, not everyone are "bad". Usually it's those connected to politics LOL.
